Terms & Conditions for Lake Legends Bass Club & Trail Events
1. Membership Eligibility
1.1. Membership is open to all anglers who are 18 years or older, or to minors with written consent from a parent or guardian.
1.2. By becoming a member of the Lake Legends Bass Club, members agree to adhere to the club's rules and regulations, including but not limited to tournament entry, conduct, and safety protocols.
2. Tournament Registration
2.1. All participants must complete the official registration process for each event.
2.2. Participants must pay all required entry fees by the designated deadline. Failure to pay the fee on time may result in disqualification from the event.
2.3. Entries are non-transferable and non-refundable once submitted
3. Tournament Rules
3.1. Participants must adhere to all local, state, and federal fishing laws and regulations.
3.2. Only legal fishing gear and bait are allowed. The use of illegal fishing practices or equipment will result in disqualification.
3.3. All anglers must comply with the specific event format, which may include boat limits, species regulations, or other event-specific rules.
3.4. Participants are responsible for ensuring their boats are safe, functional, and meet the necessary safety standards for the event.
4. Code of Conduct
4.1. All participants must behave in a sportsmanlike manner. Disrespectful behavior toward other anglers, officials, or event volunteers may result in disqualification.
4.2. Participants must treat all public and private property with respect. Damaging property or engaging in illegal activities may lead to immediate removal from the event and potential permanent ban from the club.
4.3. Alcohol consumption and drug use are prohibited during events, including during official weigh-ins.
5. Safety Protocols
5.1. All participants must wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket at all times when their boat is in motion.
5.2. Each boat must have a fire extinguisher, working bilge pump, and other safety equipment as required by law.
5.3. Participants must follow all safety guidelines provided by event organizers and event hosts.
6. Scoring and Weigh-Ins
6.1. Fish will be weighed and measured according to the official scoring system.
6.2. The event organizers' decision on weights, measurements, and results is final.
6.3. All fish must be alive and in good condition at weigh-in. Dead fish may result in penalties or disqualification.
7. Prizes and Payouts
7.1. Digital payouts, merchandise, or other awards will be distributed as outlined in the official event rules.
7.2. Prizes are non-transferable and will be awarded solely to the registered participant.
7.3. The prize distribution is subject to change based on the number of participants in the event.
8. Liability Waiver
8.1. By participating in any event organized by Lake Legends Bass Club, participants acknowledge that fishing and boating are inherently risky activities.
8.2. Participants release the Lake Legends Bass Club, its organizers, sponsors, and volunteers from any liability for injury, loss, or damage to person or property during club events.
8.3. Participants are solely responsible for their safety, including the operation of their boats and adherence to safety guidelines.
9. Media and Promotion
9.1. By registering for an event, participants agree to allow the use of their name, image, and likeness in promotional materials, media coverage, and for marketing purposes.
9.2. Participants may be photographed or filmed during the event, and these materials may be used in print, digital, or social media formats.
10. Event Cancellations or Modifications
10.1. Lake Legends Bass Club reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any event for reasons including but not limited to weather, safety concerns, or logistical issues.
10.2. In the event of cancellation, participants may receive a refund or be offered an alternative event date, depending on the situation.
11. Disqualification
11.1. Violation of any of the above terms may result in disqualification from the event and the forfeiture of any prizes or entry fees.
11.2. Disqualified participants may be banned from future events or membership, depending on the severity of the violation.
12. Amendments
12.1. Lake Legends Bass Club reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
12.2. Participants will be notified of any significant changes prior to the next event or tournament.
